objectives

The postgraduate specialisation programme responds to an urgent demand from populations today affected by wars and environmental and ecological disasters, for the immediate, modular reconstruction of mainly residential architecture, cohousing but also small temporary service structures.

The didactics offers the methodology of multidisciplinary design in line with the principles of circular economy towards ecological transition. The modularity that comes from sustainable temporary architecture practices and not from traditional speculative building processes has a cultural root in the geometries of nature and local materials that come from respecting a country's natural resources. The social value of the design methodology taught in the master's course lies in the attention paid to the local materials of the affected territories, to the technologies suited to them, and to the construction practices of housing, co-housing and cultural collective spaces, including art, as places of a new natural landscape and urban regeneration.

The postgraduate specialisation programme is open to architects, engineers, designers who wish enter into relations with the above-mentioned sector through companies, enterprises and studios that are protagonists of an ethical sustainability of design together with the practices of ecological transition.
