objectives

The main objective of the ProPART Program is the formation of interactive and participatory design skills (tools, techniques, methods) for the involvement of stakeholders and the public at various scales of action and in various areas of activity.

The three specialized and professionalizing modules that make up the architecture of the training program allow students to come into direct contact with cases of co-design of public policies; participatory planning and tactical urbanism; social and democratic innovation; co-production of public goods for civic and collective uses; digital democracy (platforms for civic engagement, civic monitoring, public debate, etc.); involvement of the younger generation (cities for girls and kids); sustainable and community-led local development; collaborative governance; multistakeholder engagement; community management; local self-organizing.

Functional profiles and employment opportunities

ProPART trains a process designer whose skills are adaptable to various contexts, different design areas, to different scales and sizes, a facilitator and mediator who knows how to manage complex interactive processes, and a cultured and reflective operator, who knows the theories of democracy and the forms of democratic innovation. The Master's training program is aimed in particular at:

Young graduates who, starting from different backgrounds, wish to acquire a specialization around participatory planning skills, conflict facilitation, and mediation

Professionals, civil servants, administrators and managers, technicians, and scholars who wish to update and strengthen their profile in areas where participatory and collaborative planning skills, conflict mediation, and network strategies are required. These transversal skills have become essential in the public, private for-profit, and non-profit sectors, volunteering; political and representative activities; research and training; in the financial world, and third sector organizations.
