An architect who obtained in 2016 a degree as master of “Architettura per il Nuovo e l’Antico”
at the Iuav university of Venice, with a thesis
analysing the preservation and the architectural value of the rural landscape
of “Stella, boschi, laguna”
in Friuli. On these subjects he continues the research at the Iuav, and also by certain associations and technical
committees in Veneto. He handed in the results of his research to conventions
and seminars and he had published them in different magazines. He’s a town councillor and musician. |
Borghi rurali antichi dell'area mediterranea: conoscenza, conservazione,
riuso
e valorizzazione, in un percorso di marketing territoriale (ICAR/14, ICAR/19)

La ricerca riguarda
lo studio e il recupero dei borghi rurali antichi, in prevalenti condizioni di
abbandono, presenti in Italia ma anche in altri Paesi che si affacciano sul
Mediterraneo, partendo da due casi emblematici: i borghi di Conflenti superiore
e di Cleto, in Calabria.
Si tratta di due
straordinari esempi di insediamento rurale, in quanto testimonianze storiche di
cultura materiale, prodotti della costruzione umana come opere collettive di
architettura, elementi emergenti nel paesaggio che ne è la condizione di
esistenza.
La ricerca persegue
due obiettivi. Il primo è quello di mettere a punto una strategia di
cooperazione per lo sviluppo locale, al fine di avviare concretamente la
rinascita dei due borghi antichi. Il secondo obiettivo consiste nel delineare -
a partire da questi casi significativi - un metodo di lavoro innovativo,
utilizzabile in casi analoghi.
Le azioni in cui si
articola la ricerca sono:
- la conoscenza
della struttura architettonica e insediativa dei due borghi antichi, attraverso
l'indagine diretta sullo stato di conservazione degli edifici, la raccolta e
interpretazione della documentazione disponibile, l'individuazione delle
criticità e potenzialità, la valutazione dei loro caratteri identitari;
- la messa a punto
di una strategia per la loro conservazione e valorizzazione, attraverso
l'individuazione dei tipi d'intervento e delle proposte di riuso degli edifici;
- l'attuazione
della strategia inserita in un percorso di marketing territoriale, attraverso
la messa a punto di uno strumento attuativo per la regolamentazione degli
interventi di conservazione e riuso degli edifici storici e dell'insediamento,
e la costruzione progressiva di un circuito di fruizione integrata, che
coinvolga il contesto in cui il borgo si colloca.
La strategia verrà
presentata alla comunità locale e regionale, al fine della sua partecipazione
al programma.
Antique rural villages of the Mediterranean area:
knowledge, preservation, recycle and increase of value, towards a marketing
territory.
The research is about the studies and the
regain of antique rural villages, that are abandoned in Italy and other towns
that are near the Mediterranean, starting with two emblematic opportunities:
the villages of Conflenti Superiore
and Cleto in Calabria. They are two extraordinary
examples of rural settlements that are witnesses of historic materials and
substances produced by human construction like a collective operas of
architecture, elements standing out on the landscapes which are the state of
their existence.
The research has two aims. The first is to
create a strategy of cooperation for the local development, to start off
practically the revival of two antique villages. The second aim consist in
putting an outline-starting with these important opportunities-a method of new
solutions useful in these cases.
The influences of the research are:
-the knowledge of the architectural structure
is officially possessed by the two antique villages, through direct investigations
on the preservation of the buildings, the collection and the interpretation of
the documents that are available, the definition of the criticizing and
realization, the valuation of their characters;
-the creation of a strategy for their preservation
and the increase in value, through the definition of different types of
participations and proposals of recycling the buildings;
-the putting into effect of the strategy put
into a method of territorial marketing, through the creation of an instrument
realizable for certain rules of preservation and recycle of the historic
buildings and possession, and the progressive construction of a whole community
that involves where the village is placed. The strategy will be presented to
the local and regional community, to take part in the planning.
